The City of Hamilton had kicked off a new ambitious initiative to update its zoning bylaws. This plan would bring more creative and varied housing options for residents, aimed at helping with the growing housing crisis. The City needed a way to explain these new bylaws in a way that would be easy for anyone to understand and get residents engaged and excited about the future of the City.
The Project
Thinkr worked alongside WSP, a professional service firm, to deliver a series of four explainer videos. We coordinated with City and WSP personnel to develop and fine tune storyboards and scripts. Our creative team created and animated illustrated scenes for the series, giving the videos a clean look and visual appeal. We sourced voiceover talent that could narrate the video series in a manner that would match the tone and aesthetic of the visuals.

The City was thrilled with the result. The series has a permanent home on the Hamilton website and has been shared repeatedly across social media.
